Job Description

We’re looking for a creative writer who loves copywriting, loves helping clients improve their businesses, and is constantly improving their skills. This position will work within a team environment to plan out digital marketing strategies.

Your primary duties will be to write content for websites, printed materials and advertising for our clients. This position will work very closely with our Digital Marketing Manager and Social Media Manager.

Responsibilities of Role

  • Write compelling content for a variety of mediums (websites, blogs, ads, social media, etc)
  • Conduct thorough research prior to writing content
  • Develop a clear voice for each client
  • Coordinate with team members for consistent messaging
  • Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results
  • Work closely with the other team members to meet client goals
  • Understand how SEO and keywords affect the usefulness of each piece of content
  • Add content to client websites and update as needed using a CSM like WordPress

  • Learn each client’s personality to represent their interests
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
  • Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points
  • Ability to learn new industries and new business types quickly and apply this knowledge to internet marketing initiatives and achieving client goals
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills
  • Accurately track time against project budgets
  • Full time position: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with an hour lunch

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years experience in copywriting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft, Adobe, and Google products
  • Experience with content management systems such as WordPress
  • Proficient in writing content for websites, brochures, advertising campaigns, video scripts, social media, etc.
  • BS/BA degree preferred

Job Location

This is a position in Wichita, KS. Remote workers and freelancers need not apply.
